For sustained cushion or comfort use the multicolor, but if the horse isn’t ready to handle even a slightly denser pad, he will let you know by not wanting to stand on the pad. White pads are great work horse pads, once the horse is ready for something more than the blue or gray. The White conforms to the bottom of the sole but not to quite the same degree as the blue.
Its dense enough to relieve stress/pressure of the hoof wall. It is excellent for use in transporting horses.
Its best for most applications where thickness and cushion is needed and the white is the foam the horse chooses at that given moment in time.
 
The 4# pad is only available in 1/2″ thickness. Sold in pairs.
