The trail pad is the last pad in density for the Therapeutic Pad System for a hoof to transition to the ground.  The yellow pad has been worn and the hoof is ready for more density but not ready for the hardness of a hoof boot then this is the last pad that is needed.  
This pad was test ridden in Las Vegas on several hours long trail rides.
This pad can also be used for draft horses. This pad is able to help support the bony column of a draft and last.
